Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
  • Determine customer needs and make product suggestions
  • Sample and suggest products to customers
  • Assist Food Service Manager in hiring new associates
  • Coach and train new associates to Barista Certification
  • Ensure compliance with store and Price Chopper policies and procedures
  • Follow all health, safety, and food safety guidelines
  • Maintain customer service area and equipment cleanliness
  • Keep workstation organized and clean according to 5S standards
  • Demonstrate positive customer service behavior
  • Prepare a variety of customer beverage orders
  • Perform cleaning tasks according to schedules and standards
  • Follow merchandising standards, stocking, and rotation
  • Assure equipment maintenance follows procedures
  • Handle cash and register policies accurately
  • Follow inventory control policies
  • Order products and supplies to meet business needs
  • Maintain records according to company procedures
  • Complete Initial Store Training and pass Barista certification with a 90 percent score or better
  • Perform other related duties assigned by management
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
