Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to stand and walk for constant periods of 5-8 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- ability to adhere to corporate and state sanitation regulations
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical capability to perform tasks such as squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling heavy loads
- commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- familiarity with state and corporate safety standards
- previous experience in a bakery or retail environment preferred
- ability to operate bakery equipment such as ovens and mixers
- strong customer service skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a work station
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- assist with the bakery operation within the retail store environment to include preparation, baking, merchandising and final presentation of all bakery products
- consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times
- smile, make eye contact and thank customers upon fulfilling customer requests
- maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards
- assist and/or create customer special orders such as cake orders
- operate bakery department equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils
- adhere to all corporate and state sanitation regulations
- control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures
- perform other related duties as assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures
