Job Requirements
- Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or working a prep cook line station
- Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
- Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
- Willingness to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing personal protective equipment as per regulatory guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of full scratch kitchen cooking techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional food experiences
- Basic food safety certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals from scratch according to established recipes and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Interact with residents and guests to build positive relationships and enhance dining experiences
- Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Participate in continuous learning and development opportunities to improve culinary skills
