Job Requirements

  • Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
  • 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or working a prep cook line station
  • Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
  • Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
  • Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and TB tests
  • Willingness to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing personal protective equipment as per regulatory guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of full scratch kitchen cooking techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional food experiences
  • Basic food safety certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals from scratch according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Interact with residents and guests to build positive relationships and enhance dining experiences
  • Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Participate in continuous learning and development opportunities to improve culinary skills
