Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 8 years' relevant experience or additional experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in Linux systems administration
  • Familiarity with networking concepts
  • Experience with file systems
  • Knowledge of user management
  • Understanding of system security practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph
  • Must be able to work at Annapolis Junction or Linthicum, MD sites

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with 8 years' relevant experience or 6 years' experience with a Master’s degree or 4 years with PhD
  • Linux systems administration proficiency
  • Basic knowledge and experience with networking concepts
  • Basic knowledge and experience with file systems
  • Basic knowledge and experience with user management
  • Basic knowledge and experience with system security
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph
  • U.S. Citizenship

Job Duties

  • Support operation of a high-performance compute cluster
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve acute system faults
  • Maintain software deployments
  • Maintain security compliance
  • Monitor and maintain hardware
  • Interface with user support staff
