Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree with 8 years' relevant experience or additional experience in lieu of degree
- Experience in Linux systems administration
- Familiarity with networking concepts
- Experience with file systems
- Knowledge of user management
- Understanding of system security practices
- Strong communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph
- Must be able to work at Annapolis Junction or Linthicum, MD sites
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with 8 years' relevant experience or 6 years' experience with a Master’s degree or 4 years with PhD
- Linux systems administration proficiency
- Basic knowledge and experience with networking concepts
- Basic knowledge and experience with file systems
- Basic knowledge and experience with user management
- Basic knowledge and experience with system security
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship
Job Duties
- Support operation of a high-performance compute cluster
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve acute system faults
- Maintain software deployments
- Maintain security compliance
- Monitor and maintain hardware
- Interface with user support staff
