Job Requirements
- Must have 1 year or more of kitchen management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to manage staffing and scheduling
- Capability to control labor and food costs
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
- Ability to handle emergencies and unexpected problems
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen management experience in a full service, moderate to high volume restaurant
- Strong communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven success driving sales and controlling labor and food costs
- Demonstrated culinary talent
- Proven ability to motivate teamwork and maintain high retention rates
- Experience with Sysco and Reinhart ordering is a plus
Job Duties
- Supervise all kitchen staff and staffing levels
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
- Oversee housekeeping in the kitchen
- Manage made from scratch food production activities
- Handle unexpected problems or emergencies during shifts
- Staff, schedule, and develop assigned kitchen workgroup (line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers)
- Drive financial goals including controlling labor and food costs
