Job Requirements

  • Must have 1 year or more of kitchen management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to manage staffing and scheduling
  • Capability to control labor and food costs
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to handle emergencies and unexpected problems

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of kitchen management experience in a full service, moderate to high volume restaurant
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proven success driving sales and controlling labor and food costs
  • Demonstrated culinary talent
  • Proven ability to motivate teamwork and maintain high retention rates
  • Experience with Sysco and Reinhart ordering is a plus

Job Duties

  • Supervise all kitchen staff and staffing levels
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Oversee housekeeping in the kitchen
  • Manage made from scratch food production activities
  • Handle unexpected problems or emergencies during shifts
  • Staff, schedule, and develop assigned kitchen workgroup (line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers)
  • Drive financial goals including controlling labor and food costs
