Job Requirements

  • lifting up to/over 50 pounds
  • environmental exposures to cold, heat and water
  • standing for up to 8 hours at one time
  • working shifts up to 12 hours
  • food handler certification
  • must be able to pass a drug test

Job Duties

  • setting up stations according to restaurant guidelines
  • preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • restocking all items needed throughout shift
  • cleaning and maintaining stations while practicing good safety, sanitation and organizational skills
  • assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
  • performing additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager
  • adhering to all Spinato’s specifications and recipes
  • adhering to all Spinato’s policies and procedures as stated in your employee handbook
  • adhering to all proper food handling procedures as set forth by the local Health Board Agency
  • opening and closing department
  • communicating clearly with team members
  • showing commitment to food safety
  • focusing on teamwork and multitasking
  • ordering products and managing inventory
  • ensuring station and staff closing duties
  • maintaining overall cleanliness of restaurant
  • holding employees accountable to their tasks
