Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or food and beverage industry preferred
- ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- strong communication skills
- ability to complete required certifications
- flexible availability to work varied shifts
- compliance with safety and sanitation policies
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Can physically stand or walk 100% of shift
- can reach, bend, stoop frequently
- able to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to speak, read and write English
- ability to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes
- complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program
- complete and pass food safety certification program
- ability to work flexible hours
- work in a fast paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food and drink running as needed
- be knowledgeable regarding food and beverage menus, current promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
- accurately enter orders into POS system
- retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver to guests in a timely manner
- collect guests’ payments including credit cards, cash, or gift cards and ensure transactions are correct using POS system
- perform shift changes, opening and closing duties, and assigned sidework
- pack and verify all ToGo orders with guests
- greet guests at the curbside pickup area
