Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in restaurant or hospitality preferred
- ability to stand and walk during entire shift
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- pass background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Can physically stand walk 100 percent of shift
- can reach bend stoop frequently
- able to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to speak read and write English
- ability to read and write handwritten guest checks notes etc
- complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with Flanigans and Florida statutes
- complete and pass food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigans and Florida statutes
- ability to work flexible hours
- work in a fast paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance food and drink running as needed
- be knowledgeable regarding food and beverage menus current food and drink promotions and specials and answer guests questions verbally and clearly
- accurately enter orders into POS system
- retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
- collect guests payments credit cards cash or gift cards only ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
- perform shift changes opening closing duties assigned sidework
- pack and verify all ToGo orders with guest
- greet guests at the curbside pickup area
