Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for the entire shift
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Must pass required Florida Responsible Vendor program
- Must pass food safety certification
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
- Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
- Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
- Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
- Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Work in a fast paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food and drink running, etc. as needed
- Be knowledgeable regarding food and beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests' questions verbally and clearly
- Accurately enter orders into POS system
- Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
- Collect guests' payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
- Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
- Pack and verify all ToGo orders with guest
- Greet guests at the curbside pickup area
