Job Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain a current food handler's card
  • Ability to accurately work with numbers, orders and food specifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive movements
  • Ability to work on feet for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous kitchen or line cook experience desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and food specifications accurately
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation
  • Positive attitude and value for diversity
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Handle all kitchen tasks from opening to closing
  • Manufacture and present hot and cold food products including salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas, weekly specials, sauté and grill items
  • Organize and clean work area
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Follow safety procedures and report safety concerns
  • Stay current on company events, history and products
  • Perform duties assigned by the Manager on Duty
