Job Requirements
- Obtain and maintain a current food handler's card
- Ability to accurately work with numbers, orders and food specifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to work on feet for long periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes and food specifications accurately
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation
- Positive attitude and value for diversity
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Handle all kitchen tasks from opening to closing
- Manufacture and present hot and cold food products including salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas, weekly specials, sauté and grill items
- Organize and clean work area
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Follow safety procedures and report safety concerns
- Stay current on company events, history and products
- Perform duties assigned by the Manager on Duty
