Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required
- Ability to perform moderate physical effort including moving furniture and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow safety and security protocols
- Must be able to operate hand and powered cleaning tools
- Willingness to obtain food handling certification if assigned breakfast duties
- May require valid state driver’s license to travel to other properties
- Must complete all safety and security training
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
- Must adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards

- Ability to operate manual and powered cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail

- Willingness to obtain required certifications such as food handling and NHG housekeeping certification
Job Duties
- Cleans guest rooms and other assigned areas
- Operates cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, waxers, and polishers
- Empties wastebaskets, dusts, waxes, and polishes room furniture
- Washes walls, partitions, air vents, disinfects, and deodorizes toilet bowls and lavatories
- Cleans bathroom areas including tubs, tile walls, commodes, floors, and vanities
- Cleans kitchen areas including stoves, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, cabinets, and floors
- Changes light bulbs and room partitions using ladders and scaffolds
- Moves furniture to clean under and behind, uses step stools to clean windows, window treatments, cabinet tops, mirrors, and picture frames
- Places amenities in rooms and changes bed linens
- Greets and welcomes guests with outstanding guest relations
- Ensures privacy and security of guests
- Cleans and vacuums corridors, stairways, guest laundry, patios, and balconies
- Performs scheduled carpet cleaning and deep cleaning as required
- Maintains cleanliness and order of storage rooms
- Communicates status of cleaned rooms and spaces to supervisors
- Performs minor repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Cleans and inspects exterior spaces like parking lots and passageways
- Assists with receipt of supplies and merchandise delivery
- Responsible for passkey and other keys as assigned
- Reports unusual circumstances and lost and found items
- May set up and clean up breakfast bar and obtain food handling certification
- Completes safety and security training
- Performs laundry operations
- May require valid state driver’s license
- May obtain NHG housekeeping certifications
