Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or its equivalent
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to read, understand and apply a variety of policies, rules, and regulations
- Ability to analyze situations and apply inductive and deductive reasoning
- Ability to direct children in an effective and courteous manner
- Ability to act quickly and with mature judgment
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or its equivalent

- Previous experience providing supervision to elementary students is desirable
- Valid California driver's license is desirable
- Knowledge of student conduct code, Education Code, and Penal Code sections related to student conduct is desirable
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is desirable
Job Duties
- Assist certificated employees with preventive discipline for the purpose of explaining school rules to students and parents
- Assist the administrators and staff in supervising and controlling student behavior
- Assist in stopping student fights and other potentially dangerous situations for the purpose of maintaining a safe and orderly school campus environment
- Complete necessary written reports for the purpose of maintaining an accurate record of events
- Escort students to the school administrator for the purpose of dealing with students who have serious or repeated violations of school and/or behavior conduct
- Establish rapport with faculty and students for the purpose of gaining their trust and confidence and informing students of acceptable school behavior
- Intercept non-students who come on campus during school hours for the purpose of directing them to either report to the office or leave campus and notifying the school administration immediately if a non-student fails to comply, returns again, or otherwise creates a problem
