Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must be able to utilize all kitchen equipment including wok station
- assist with sushi station as needed
- must have knowledge of quality food and kitchen safety
- able to ensure functionality and proper use of kitchen equipment
- knowledge of sanitation standards and regulations
- able to follow production sheets and recipes
- must have flexible work hours availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- able to stand and walk continuously throughout shift
- able to stoop, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear
- able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- able to work in close quarters and exposure to varying temperatures
- must be able to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications
- must have open availability
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years related experience and/or culinary training
- knowledge of Asian cooking styles and techniques
- ability to utilize all Wok Station equipment and kitchen tools
- knowledge of food preparation and preservation
- good communication skills in English
- positive attitude in training and teamwork
- knowledgeable in sanitation practices
- advanced knowledge of weights, measures, and cooking techniques
Job Duties
- Prepare A La Carte Asian style food items
- serve and display food items to customers
- maintain a clean and safe working environment
- follow all production and storage guidelines and procedures
- ensure recipes have been followed accurately
- deliver orders in a timely manner
- implement OSHA, ServSafe and HACCP standards
