Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to utilize all wok station equipment and other kitchen equipment
- Must have knowledge of quality food, food preparation, and food preservation
- Knowledgeable of sanitation practices to ensure standards and regulations have been followed
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout shift
- Must be able to stoop, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to work in close quarters or small rooms
- Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
- Must have open availability
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years related experience and/or culinary training or equivalent combination of education and experience with Asian cooking styles and techniques
- Knowledge of quality food preparation and preservation
- Knowledge of all kitchen equipment and knives
- Advanced knowledge of weights, measures, and mixing techniques
- Ability to follow production sheets and recipes
- Good oral, written, and reading communication skills in English
- Positive attitude in training and working with others
Job Duties
- Prepare, serve and display A La Carte Asian style food items in a manner that exceeds customer expectations and department standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow all production and storage guidelines and procedures
- Ensure recipes have been followed and orders delivered in a timely manner
- Implement all OSHA, ServSafe and HACCP standards
- Utilize all wok station equipment and other kitchen equipment efficiently
- Assist with sushi station as needed
- Ensure the functionality, safety and proper use of all kitchen equipment
