Job Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work all event days as required
- Willingness to travel locally up to 50% of the time
- Ability to coordinate multiple volunteer groups and ensure compliance with regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in community engagement or volunteer coordination preferred
Job Qualifications
- Experience with sales and/or recruiting preferred
- Experience in a non-profit or fundraising setting highly preferred
- Experience in a hospitality sports environment preferred
- Experience with public speaking and presenting to groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software
Job Duties
- Network with local community and non-profit organizations to partner with them for events contracted at Miami Freedom Park
- Attend events geared toward non-profit groups and fundraising opportunities
- Cold call and email potential fundraising organizations to fill business needs
- Verify non-profit eligibility and track and organize non-profit organizations’ contracts in accordance with Delaware North’s policy
- Coordinate training schedules for non-profit group volunteers and deliver training in compliance with federal, state and local regulations regarding alcohol service and sanitation
- Ensure non-profit groups follow company policies on guest service and alcohol service through training and enforcement
- Coordinate staffing of groups to ensure adequate coverage for each event
- Track progress and provide updates to management on the numbers of volunteers over business needs
- Participate in event day group check-in and check-out
- Meet with new groups at their first event and assist with getting them acclimated to their location
- Perform other duties as assigned
