Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience preferably in driving shred/box trucks and route management
- Current driver’s license Class D or above with an excellent driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- May require mandatory immunizations and credentials based on customer requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading vehicle
- Compliance with DOT and company safety regulations
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in driving shred/box trucks and route management
- Valid Class D or above driver’s license with an excellent driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and respond to inquiries
- Medical examiner's certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate company equipment safely
Job Duties
- Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
- Performs pre/post-trip checks and driver check-in on the assigned truck
- Reports maintenance issues to transportation/dispatcher for follow-up
- Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Complies with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
- Completes and maintains DOT logs when applicable
- Maintains a high level of security when emptying consoles and/or collection totes
- Services accounts using a hand-held device
- Manages assigned routes ensuring timely and accurate collection of confidential material
- Handles and responds to customer problems and inquiries expediently
- Performs other duties as assigned
