Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- three or more years of experience in driving and route management
- valid Class D or above driver’s license
- excellent driving record
- ability to read, speak and understand English sufficiently for safety and compliance purposes
- willingness to undergo mandatory immunizations and obtain credentials if required
- ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading documents
- comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- more than three years experience in driving shred or box trucks and route management preferred
- valid Class D or above driver’s license with an excellent driving record
- ability to read, understand and speak English sufficiently to respond to inquiries and follow traffic signals
- adherence to required immunizations and credentials based on client requirements
Job Duties
- Perform onsite and offsite document destruction of confidential information
- perform pre and post-trip checks and driver check-in on the assigned truck
- report maintenance issues to Transportation or Dispatcher for follow-up
- operate company equipment safely and efficiently
- comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
- complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable
- maintain a high level of security when emptying consoles and collection totes ensuring all documents are retrieved and secured
- service accounts using a hand-held device ensuring console locations are updated and accurately logged
- manage assigned routes ensuring timely and accurate collection of confidential materials
- handle and respond promptly to all customer problems and inquiries
- perform other duties as assigned
