Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- physical stamina to stand and walk for 85-100% of shift
- ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist
- ability to push and pull up to 250 lbs
- ability to work in conditions of extreme heat
- availability to work assigned shifts including weekends
- compliance with Syracuse University policies and union regulations
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- experience in dishwashing or similar food service support roles preferred
- knowledge of sanitation and health regulations
- physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
- strong attention to detail

Job Duties
- Load and operate a dishwashing machine
- remove and store washed dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, etc
- wash pots, pans and cooking utensils
- mop floors, wash walls, windows, cabinets, shelves, equipment, including locker room and bathroom areas
- clear and clean tables and dispose of trash and garbage
- observe safety and health regulations and maintain highest standards of sanitation
- may move materials into and out of storage area
- may fill milk and beverage dispensers and replenish as needed
