Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience
- Valid Class D or higher driver’s license
- Excellent driving record
- Ability to adhere to local, state, and federal laws regarding driver fitness and hours of service
- Ability to perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ability to maintain accurate DOT logs
- Mandatory immunizations and credentials based on customer requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to manage routes and schedules efficiently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience, preferably in shred/box truck operation and route management
- Current driver’s license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and respond to official inquiries
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal driving regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Job Duties
- Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
- Performs pre/post-trip checks and driver check-in on the assigned truck
- Reports maintenance issues to transportation/dispatcher
- Operates company equipment safely and efficiently
- Complies with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
- Completes and maintains DOT logs when applicable
- Maintains a high level of security by ensuring all documents are retrieved and containers securely locked
- Services accounts using a hand-held device to track console/container status
- Manages assigned routes to ensure timely and accurate customer service
- Handles and responds to customer problems and inquiries promptly
- Performs other duties as assigned
