Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience
  • Valid Class D or higher driver’s license
  • Excellent driving record
  • Ability to adhere to local, state, and federal laws regarding driver fitness and hours of service
  • Ability to perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ability to maintain accurate DOT logs
  • Mandatory immunizations and credentials based on customer requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to manage routes and schedules efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience, preferably in shred/box truck operation and route management
  • Current driver’s license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and respond to official inquiries
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal driving regulations
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
  • Performs pre/post-trip checks and driver check-in on the assigned truck
  • Reports maintenance issues to transportation/dispatcher
  • Operates company equipment safely and efficiently
  • Complies with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
  • Completes and maintains DOT logs when applicable
  • Maintains a high level of security by ensuring all documents are retrieved and containers securely locked
  • Services accounts using a hand-held device to track console/container status
  • Manages assigned routes to ensure timely and accurate customer service
  • Handles and responds to customer problems and inquiries promptly
  • Performs other duties as assigned
