- One year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to read and understand English

- Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem resolution skills

- Good working knowledge of product and inventory control techniques
- Maintain ongoing inter-department communication related to routing, safety, and customer relations

- Proven ability to build customer loyalty and trust

Job Duties
- Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times
- Unload product from trailer by hand or using hand cart and place in designated customer storage areas, including transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions
- Frequently lift, push, or move product weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds
- Reach up to 72 inches to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart
- Constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading product and retrieving items from trailer
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Contact management for authorization when discrepancies occur on invoice and communicate all errors/returns
- Handle customer complaints professionally
- Handle company equipment properly and follow written driver safety rules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations and company policies
- Assist occasionally with loading trucks, palletizing product, and other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
