Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a non-CDL driver
- Experience delivering products and interacting with customers
- No serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years
- DOT Medical Card/physical, required
- No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years
- Bilingual preferred
- E-Verify
- Valid driver's license
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a non-CDL driver
- Experience delivering products and interacting with customers
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures
- Basic computer skills to input delivery data
- Physical ability to load and unload products
- Bilingual skills preferred
Job Duties
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance before every route
- Drive routes and meet delivery schedules
- Unload products for customers at the final delivery point
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Input macros into the automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations including size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations
