Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a non-CDL driver
  • experience delivering products and interacting with customers
  • no serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years
  • DOT medical card/physical, required
  • no DWI/DUI in the last 10 years
  • bilingual (preferred)
  • E-Verify

Job Qualifications

  • experience delivering products and interacting with customers
  • ability to follow safety protocols and regulations
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to operate automated systems or software
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • bilingual (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
  • inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance before every route
  • drive routes and meet delivery schedules
  • unload products for customers at the final delivery point
  • document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
  • input macros into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
  • comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • collect and verify delivery instructions
  • report defects, accidents, or violations
