Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • 21 years of age
  • At least 6 months of verifiable commercial motor vehicle driving experience on public roads within the past 3 years
  • Must hold one valid Driver’s License free of restrictions issued by the state of residence
  • Be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of verifiable experience operating a commercial motor vehicle on public roads within the past 3 years
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License free of restrictions of the required type
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and manage shifting priorities
  • Willingness to travel up to 5 percent of the time

Job Duties

  • Make safe, timely deliveries
  • Operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT and local, state, and federal regulations
  • Unload and put away product at restaurants
  • Assist in unloading trucks and putting away equipment at the Distribution Center
  • Collaborate with team leaders to assess deliveries and continuous improvement
  • Build relationships with restaurant operators to learn best practices
  • Keep vehicle clean and report maintenance issues
  • Comply with regulatory and company policies including FSMA
  • Attend safety and job training sessions
  • Maneuver trucks into positions at delivery locations
  • Report defects, accidents, or violations
  • Complete routes within established delivery windows
  • Handle pickups and returns properly and submit paperwork
  • Frequently lift heavy items and work in all weather conditions
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and medical card
  • Manage time off to ensure rest and comply with DOT regulations
  • Maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Attend shift in proper attire with safety equipment
  • Work in multi-temperature environments
  • Maintain an acceptable MVR
  • Act as navigator/helper to CDL-A drivers
