Job Requirements
- Class C Driver's License required
- Ability to work independently
- Completion of Safe Driver orientation
- Capability to understand and perform basic math
- Ability to follow maps or directions
- Pass a drug test
- Physical ability to push/pull carts weighing approximately 550 pounds
- Compliance with state and federal vehicle operation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Possess a Class C Driver's License
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Complete Safe Driver orientation
- Able to understand and complete simple math functions
- Able to follow maps or directions to meet destinations efficiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with truck driving in commercial settings preferred
Job Duties
- Operate delivery trucks of various models and gross vehicle weights
- Load clean linen carts into trucks and verify load accuracy against delivery tickets
- Drive trucks to specified hotel properties and unload linen carts
- Assist hotel personnel in delivering linen to designated areas
- Complete safety inspection of truck prior to every delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the truck
- Ensure truck has a full gas tank
- Complete trip sheets reflecting stops, number of carts delivered and retrieved, and breaks
- Assist scalers and linen distribution by positioning carts and placing plastic liners
- Clean and sanitize the interior and exterior of trucks regularly
- Push and pull linen carts weighing approximately 550 pounds
- Safely operate truck lift gate and back trucks into tight spaces
- Comply with company policies and federal, state, local regulations on commercial motor vehicle operation
- Represent the company professionally through responsible driving and appearance
- Comply with all customer safety and delivery requirements
- Pass a drug test
