Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- pass pre-employment drug test
- pass road test
- able to hand-lift and use equipment to handle product cases and freight
- valid drivers license and meet state certification requirements
- minimum 6 months commercial driving experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 6 months commercial driving experience
- valid non-commercial driver’s license
- meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements as applicable
- must be 21 years of age

- able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move or stack product cases or freight of varying size and weight
Job Duties
- Perform pre-trip safety check inspection of truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
- inspect cab and trailer to ensure they meet company quality standards and take appropriate action
- perform count check of items and check customer invoices of loaded products
- complete required paperwork associated with freight accurately and legibly
- move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed
- drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route
- handle deliveries of urgent orders due to mispicks and service related issues using small straight truck or van
- unload products from trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas
- perform damage control checks on items and contact supervisor about removing orders
- verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- collect money where required
- load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors
- unload damaged goods and customer returns at driver check-in dock and complete paperwork
- unload pallets, insulated blankets, power walker/hand carts and remove trash from trailers
- complete daily record of hours of service and enter log per Federal DOT, state and company requirements
- perform post-trip safety check on vehicle, secure tractor and trailer, and tag for repair or maintenance as needed
- perform general housekeeping duties in cab, loading dock area, and keep trailers clean
- secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at end of shift
- perform other related duties as assigned
