Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass required DOT drug test and physical
- Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding
- Clean driving and safety record
- Ability to exert physical effort in handling (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) objects of more than 75 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Experience with local delivery or freight handling preferred
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and handle freight over 75 pounds
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle in accordance with BSP Trans Inc safety procedures and operating standards, OSHA, DOT and local, state and federal laws
- Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within the local area in accordance with company standard of customer service and professionalism
- Deliveries may include both commercial and residential
- Effectively communicate with Dispatch for route updates and stops and any delays that are impactful of the daily schedule
