Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age
- At least 6 months of verifiable experience operating CMV on public roads within past 3 years
- Valid driver’s license free of restrictions or limitations as required by state of residence
- License transfer completed within 30 days if not issued by state of residence
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
- Keen interest in continuous improvement
- Detail-oriented and organized problem solver
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Ability to travel up to 5 percent for operator visits and conferences

Job Duties
- Make safe, timely deliveries
- Operate commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT and all local, state, federal regulations
- Unload and put away product at restaurants
- Assist in unloading truck and putting away equipment at the distribution center
- Collaborate with team leaders to assess unload time, delivery issues, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build relationships with restaurant operators to learn best practices
- Keep vehicle clean and report maintenance issues
- Comply with all regulatory and company policies including hours of service limits and pre- and post-trip equipment inspections
- Attend scheduled safety and job training sessions
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations as necessary
- Complete routes within established delivery windows
- Complete pickups and returns from restaurants, submit paperwork
- Frequently lift up to 65 pounds and move pallets with mechanical assistance
- Perform work in all weather conditions and various temperature environments
- Maintain current driver’s license and medical card
- Manage time off to ensure proper rest and DOT compliance
- Maintain flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Prepare for shift rotations and attend shifts in proper attire and safety gear
- Act as navigator/helper for CDL-A drivers when required
- Adapt to change and respond professionally to challenges
- Manage pressure and prioritize tasks
- Perform other assigned duties
- Know customer needs and maintain a positive, service-focused mindset
