Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass required DOT drug test and physical
- Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding
- Clean driving and safety record
- Ability to exert physical effort in handling (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) objects of more than 75 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in local delivery or material handling preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Valid non-CDL driver qualification
- Good driving record
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle in accordance with BSP Trans, Inc. safety procedures and operating standards, OSHA, DOT and local, state and federal laws
- Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within the local area in accordance with company standard of customer service and professionalism
- Deliver both commercial and residential deliveries
- Effectively communicate with dispatch for route updates and stops and any delays impacting the daily schedule
- Handle physical tasks including pushing, pulling, and lifting of items weighing more than 75 lbs
