Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
valid driver's license
one year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
ability to read and speak English sufficiently
ability to operate vehicle in various traffic and weather conditions
physical capability to lift and move products up to 100 pounds
ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
excellent customer service and communication skills
adherence to company safety and operational policies

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
valid driver's license
one year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand traffic signs
strong customer relations and problem resolution skills
ability to plan and organize work activities independently
knowledge of product and inventory control techniques
proven communication and arithmetic skills

Job Duties

Run routes efficiently meeting or exceeding designated route times
unload product from trailer by hand or using hand cart and place in designated customer storage areas
verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
handle any customer complaints professionally
perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations
assist with loading trucks and palletizing products as needed
communicate effectively with management regarding discrepancies returns and routing issues
