Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • valid driver's license
  • one year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
  • ability to read and speak English sufficiently
  • ability to operate vehicle in various traffic and weather conditions
  • physical capability to lift and move products up to 100 pounds
  • ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • adherence to company safety and operational policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • valid driver's license
  • one year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
  • ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand traffic signs
  • strong customer relations and problem resolution skills
  • ability to plan and organize work activities independently
  • knowledge of product and inventory control techniques
  • proven communication and arithmetic skills

Job Duties

  • Run routes efficiently meeting or exceeding designated route times
  • unload product from trailer by hand or using hand cart and place in designated customer storage areas
  • verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
  • handle any customer complaints professionally
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations
  • assist with loading trucks and palletizing products as needed
  • communicate effectively with management regarding discrepancies returns and routing issues
