Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid Alaskan driver's license
- minimum five years driving experience
- clean driving record
- valid medical card
- ability to pass drug screening
- ability to pass background and reference checks
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 75 pounds
- ability to work in refrigerated settings
- ability to operate pallet jacks
Job Qualifications
- speak and read the English language
- bi-lingual preferred
- valid Alaskan driver's license
- provide at least a five year driving record from Alaskan DMV
- valid medical card
- pass pre-employment drug test
- pass background check
- pass reference check
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- ability to work in refrigerated environments
- experience operating electric and manual pallet jacks safely
Job Duties
- Drive company truck to deliver produce to customers on assigned routes
- assist warehouse in storing incoming produce
- return produce to coolers
- fuel trucks and trailer refrigeration units
- occasionally process product orders
- hook and unhook truck from trailers
- inspect equipment
- load and unload trailers
- break down pallets of produce
- fill out and complete required paperwork promptly
- practice safe driving techniques
- provide good customer service
- deliver produce by set deadlines
- maintain vehicles to company standards
- perform occasional warehouse duties
- ensure quality and food safety
- communicate customer issues to management
- collect signatures and payments at delivery
