Job Requirements
- Must hold either a driver’s license or chauffeur’s license depending on state and vehicle weight
- must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations
- must pass DOT physical as trucks driven are over 10,000 pounds
- must be at least 21 years old
- ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- able to travel frequently
- prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab
- CDL drivers may need to be clean shaven to meet customer requirements
- must pass a 10-panel drug screen

- ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff
- ability to remain focused in a busy environment

Job Duties
- Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
- transport loads safely and timely over required routes, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations
- maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, following loading crew signals
- assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted
- maintain signed invoices and shipping bills of lading, deliver documentation to appropriate staff
- perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
- perform other related duties as assigned
