Job Requirements
- Ability to implement individual support plans under AWARE's Unconditional Care Philosophy
- knowledge of behavioral techniques, interventions, and skill building techniques
- understanding of the emotional and behavioral needs of individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities
- computer literacy including the ability to navigate and record in software systems
- interpersonal oral and written communication skills
- high school diploma or HSE
- past employment experience
- valid Montana Driver's License or willingness to obtain
- acceptable driving record
- acceptable criminal and protective services background check

Job Duties
- Responsible for the protection, care, and supervision of residents
- conduct a variety of functions to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, including maintenance and cleaning, observation and record keeping, transportation (activities, work), and/or performing basic emergency or H.E.L.P. procedures as necessary
- stay awake through the night and demonstrate the ability to handle all emergency situations by following the proper procedures
