Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Three or more years in a supervisor or management position
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Safety mentality oriented with basic OSHA knowledge
- Participation in Lean or Kaizen events
- Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Ability to walk around plant floor consistently
- Ability to sit or stand in office environment
- Commitment to wearing proper PPE
- Ability to work in noisy and variable weather conditions
- Ability to move by stepping over or bending under objects, pushing and pulling objects
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Three or more years in a supervisor or management position with proven leadership skills
- Experience in a 24-7 plant operation preferably in warehouse or manufacturing
- Participation in Lean production or process improvement events and Kaizen events
- Safety mentality with basic OSHA knowledge
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- SAP experience is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
Job Duties
- Direct supervision of daily operations such as staffing, quality control, safety requirements and prevention and schedule adherence
- Lead by example to hit targets in safety, quality, service, cost, and production and provide suggestions for improvement
- Hold team accountable to following established procedures, performance expectations and conduct standards using praise and recognition and addressing deficiencies respectfully
- Enable team to drive process improvements using safety and continuous improvement techniques
- Mentor Lead Operators to handle production problem escalations and workload challenges
- Conduct administrative activities including shift reporting, audits, time and attendance processing, safety issues, and employee relations and performance management
- Build a dedicated team with open communication and consistent pre-shift meetings where all have a voice
