Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to respond within 30 minutes to on-call requests
  • proficiency in English communication
  • availability to live onsite overnight
  • reliable and trustworthy with key handling
  • computer literacy including Microsoft Office and PMS
  • ability to handle emergencies and problem situations
  • professional demeanor and appearance
  • good organizational and recordkeeping skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel front desk or night service preferred
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS systems
  • excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • strong problem-solving and time-management skills
  • ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively

  • able to operate hotel mobile phones
  • able to read and interpret safety and operational documents
  • friendly and cooperative manner

  • capable of basic arithmetic and interpreting data such as ratios and percentages

Job Duties

  • Attend to guests upon call notification for check-ins, emergency maintenance issues, guest noise complaints, and safety situations
  • maintain control of all hotel keys including safeguarding from mishandling or theft
  • log keys in and out when necessary
  • organize, confirm, process, and conduct limited guest check-ins/check-outs including greeting guests, assigning rooms, issuing keys, and collecting payments when necessary
  • keep abreast of hotel policies, training, and safety procedures
  • ensure all safety, guest, and security concerns are reported per company policy
  • supply guests with directions and information about property amenities, services, hours, and local areas of interest when necessary
  • perform bookkeeping activities such as logging events, running reports, posting payments to guest folios when necessary
  • maintain proficiency in all location computer and software systems
  • respond to emergency situations, communicate with first responders, address key activation issues, and respond to noise complaints when necessary
  • cover other hotels in the area for critical staffing needs if required
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
