Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting preferred
- prior maintenance experience and general maintenance skillset including drywall repair, carpentry, painting, and floor care a plus
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment a plus
- strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
- good time management and organizational skills
- friendly and professional demeanor
- ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Job Duties
- Operate floor cleaning machines and clean hard surfaces and carpets as directed
- maintain all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition including empty apartments, common areas, and outside spaces
- wash, sanitize, dust, polish, vacuum, mop, and sweep all areas of the establishment
- follow community cleaning schedule and protocol according to community guidelines and safety precautions
- report all repair requests or safety hazards
- perform laundry duties as assigned
- ensure that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
- perform routine building maintenance rounds including painting, wall patching, floor care, pressure washing, and basic plumbing repairs
- work within the legal scope of local and state codes
- respect residents' privacy and preferences while cleaning living spaces
- build positive relationships with residents through friendly, respectful interactions
- use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to instructions
- follow infection control and sanitation protocols including proper waste handling and disposal
