Job Requirements

  • Must have 2-3 years luxury hotel experience in an operational supervisory role
  • experience with front office property management systems
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • effective leadership skills
  • strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • capable of working overnight shifts
  • no travel required
  • must not require visa sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of luxury hotel experience in an operational supervisory role
  • experience with front office PMS and computer systems
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • ability to lead and manage a team
  • knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
  • commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence

Job Duties

  • Manages the activities at the front desk during the overnight shift
  • directs staff
  • ensures communications and follow-up with day shift on any problems, guest requests or special requirements
  • frequently tours the hotel and monitors the activities of all other departments to assure that standards are met and guest needs fulfilled
  • personally handles all guest relocations according to established guidelines
  • resolves customer complaints from all areas with professionalism and hospitality
  • reviews late arrivals, early arrivals and departures to plan for the next day’s activities
  • coordinates arrivals, departures and billing requirements
  • assures all financial and credit procedures are followed
  • takes action related to the safety, security, and well-being of guests and employees
  • checks guests in and out efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction
  • utilizes computer systems to run reports, block rooms, and perform night audit tasks
  • checks staff facilities and communicates with HR when standards are not met
  • acts as liaison with HR for overnight shift
