Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in night audit roles
  • Proficiency with SMS Host software
  • Familiarity with POS systems and revenue management
  • Strong Excel skills with ability to use formulas and spreadsheets
  • Excellent customer service aptitude
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to perform reconciliation and accounting tasks accurately
  • Availability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to respond professionally to diverse guests and team members
  • Ability to handle front desk responsibilities including guest check-ins and reservations

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous night audit experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of SMS Host and basic front desk procedures
  • Complete understanding of all POS systems and how they maintain and process information
  • Knowledge of Excel including formulas and spreadsheet integration
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to accomplish necessary reconciliation tasks on a computer efficiently
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and spoken
  • Basic understanding of group billing concepts and arrival/departure flow including preparation and room blocking

Job Duties

  • Work with night audit staff to ensure accurate and timely recording of daily outlet totals
  • Assist in the closing of daily work for all outlets and posting correct daily totals
  • Balance room charges with POS and Host
  • Perform daily backups on systems and perform any necessary maintenance
  • Input all daily revenue information into daily excel spreadsheet
  • Balance daily credit card postings and transmit through Dollars on the Net system
  • Provide backup for front office and communications during their scheduled breaks
  • Ensure proper distribution of daily reports in a timely manner and filing
  • Notify proper outlets when discrepancies arise and follow up
  • Perform all activities in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies
  • Basic functions of a front desk agent such as checking guests in and out, answering guest questions, making reservations
  • Answer front desk phone and operator duties during shift
  • Report any issues or requests in the HotSOS application
  • Supervise night audit personnel
  • Assist in training new employees on the night audit team
