Job Requirements
- Minimum two years experience in hotel front desk operations
- At least one year in supervisory or management role
- Knowledge of property management systems required
- Strong business and work ethic required
- Ability to quickly and positively establish rapport
- Above average communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors

- Candidates with a degree in hospitality or similar preferred
- Bilingual candidates and those with luxury hotel environment experience will receive priority

Job Duties
- Directly manages the activity of the overnight staff with direct oversight of the Front Desk and general oversight of all other hotel employees on the third shift
- Direct staff and ensure communication and follow-up with day shift on any problems, guest requests or special requirements
- Frequently tour the hotel and monitor activities of all departments to ensure standards are met, staff is supported, and guest needs are fulfilled
- Review late arrivals, early arrivals, and departures to plan for the next day’s activities including coordinating arrivals, departures, and billing
- Assure all financial and credit procedures are followed including checking cashiers’ work and resolving credit issues
- Take action in matters related to safety, security, guest satisfaction, and well-being when senior managers are unavailable, responding swiftly in emergencies
- Resolve customer complaints and handle guest interactions with professionalism and hospitality, accommodating special requests and responding to inquiries
- Check guests in and out efficiently and friendly, assuring correct room assignment, rate charges, luggage delivery, key issuance, and accurate billing
- Utilize computer systems for guest check-in/out, daily reporting, and room blocking
- Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff and handle guest calls in absence of Communications Operator
