Job Requirements

  • must be flexible with schedule - able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America
  • minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience in luxury hotel front office or rooms division
  • proficiency in reading, writing and oral English
  • availability to work overnight shifts

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of luxury hotel experience in a supervisory or management role of front office or rooms division
  • proficiency in English reading, writing and speaking
  • demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
  • ability to manage financial transactions and perform night audits
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Acting as manager on duty for the hotel during the overnight shift
  • overseeing all overnight staff
  • managing the front drive
  • guest related resolutions
  • problem-solving
  • handling special requests and any other inquiries
  • ensuring all employees perform assigned tasks
  • coordinating front office communication with other departments
  • keeping overnight staff informed of nightly activities, group and VIP arrivals and in-house as well as special requests
  • handling any emergencies or incidents during the overnight shift
  • taking action in matters related to safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of guests and employees
  • maintaining accurate records of all incidents
  • communicating issues to appropriate parties
  • processing financial transactions including verification of credit card transactions
  • performing night audit and ensuring accuracy
  • delivering financial reports as required
  • ensuring timely compilation of front office report and morning operational meeting presentation
  • generating and uploading daily and weekly reports
  • completing and verifying all audit paperwork and shift reports
  • monitoring inventory and restocking supplies
  • conducting formal pass on to relieving manager and assisting with morning meeting
  • assisting in performance evaluations and disciplining staff when needed
  • performing other duties and projects as assigned
