Job Requirements

  • College degree preferred in hospitality or similar field
  • Minimum two years luxury hotel experience
  • Cultural sensitivity to Hawai'i and its workforce
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills
  • Legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Resolves guest concerns and interacts with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • Frequently tours the hotel and monitors activities of all other departments to assure that standards are being met, staff is being supported and guest needs are fulfilled
  • Reviews late arrivals, next day early arrivals and departures to plan for the next day's activities, in addition to facilitating billing requirements
  • Audits room blocks and address any discrepancies
  • Prepares proper handling of special attention guests, return guest, groups, etc
  • Responds properly in any resort emergency or safety situation
  • Works harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors
