Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English
- Ability to operate property management system technology
- Ability to follow safety rules and company procedures
- Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and occasional pushing/pulling carts up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work the typical shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities including bending and navigating the hotel
- Willingness to comply with company policies including cash handling and key control
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to operate property management system technology
- Proficient English communication skills to interact with guests and associates
- Ability to understand and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Capability to complete routine reports and correspondence
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Strong problem-solving and guest issue management skills
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities
Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100 percent commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates
- Assists guests overnight, checking in and checking guests out, and collecting payment in accordance with company guidelines and procedures
- Processes all laundry in compliance with company standards, including treating stains, washing, drying, and folding linens, terry, blankets, coverlets, and shower curtains
- Processes all dishware in compliance with company standards, including washing, drying, and packaging
- Stocks all housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry rooms with appropriate products to ensure PAR levels are maintained throughout the entire building in compliance with brand standards
- Processes reservations, registrations, payments, and departures in accordance with company guidelines and procedures
- Sets up and maintains the grab and go breakfast in accordance with brand standards
- Conducts periodic daily tours of the property to inspect for cleanliness, collecting trash and maintenance as required
- Complies with all company policies and procedures, including prompt reporting of safety and security issues, cash handling, and key control
- Assists with the cleaning of any hotel areas as assigned by management, maintains overall hotel cleanliness
- Performs other duties as requested by the management team
