Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three months related experience or training preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to operate property management system technology
- Ability to follow safety and operating procedures
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
- Available to work overnight hours typically from 11 00 PM to 7 00 AM
- Willingness to assist with additional cleaning and hotel support duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Understand and communicate in English proficiently
- Operate property management system technology and perform audit functions
- Understand and follow safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Complete routine reports and correspondence
- Perform basic arithmetic including addition subtraction multiplication and division
- Apply good judgment consistently
- Manage problems and address guest related issues
Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes a 100 percent commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates
- Assists guests overnight including checking in and checking guests out and collecting payment
- Processes all laundry in compliance with company standards including treating stains washing drying and folding linens terry blankets coverlets and shower curtains
- Processes all dishware washing drying and packaging according to company standards
- Stocks housekeeping carts cart rooms and laundry rooms with appropriate products to maintain PAR levels in compliance with brand standards
- Processes reservations registrations payments and departures according to company guidelines
- Sets up and maintains the grab and go breakfast according to brand standards
- Conducts periodic daily tours of the property to inspect cleanliness collect trash and oversee maintenance
- Complies with all company policies and procedures including safety and security protocol cash handling and key control
- Assists with cleaning assigned hotel areas including the front desk breakrooms guest laundry fitness room vending areas stairwells and common areas
- Maintains overall hotel cleanliness
- Performs any other duties as requested by management
