Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- basic computer skills
- must be able to lift 50 lbs
- must be able to climb an 8-foot step ladder and/or up to a height of 12-feet
- ability to work the assigned shift of 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday through Friday
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- basic computer skills
- experience with custodial or maintenance work preferred
- knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- ability to follow detailed instructions
Job Duties
- Assumes responsibility for the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the school and its site
- cleans classrooms, offices, hallways, entryways, restrooms, and other common areas of the school on a regular basis and after events
- dusts, cleans, sanitizes surfaces within the school including windows, ledges, desks, tables, countertops
- performs specialized cleaning at certain times of the year including stripping and waxing floors
- complies with health and safety codes, including OSHA standards
- performs minor building maintenance including bulb replacement, furniture repair, and basic repairs to plumbing, heating and electrical equipment
- sets up furniture and equipment for community use and school events
