Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • basic computer skills
  • must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • must be able to climb an 8-foot step ladder and/or up to a height of 12-feet
  • ability to work the assigned shift of 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday through Friday
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • basic computer skills
  • experience with custodial or maintenance work preferred
  • knowledge of safety standards and procedures
  • ability to follow detailed instructions

Job Duties

  • Assumes responsibility for the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the school and its site
  • cleans classrooms, offices, hallways, entryways, restrooms, and other common areas of the school on a regular basis and after events
  • dusts, cleans, sanitizes surfaces within the school including windows, ledges, desks, tables, countertops
  • performs specialized cleaning at certain times of the year including stripping and waxing floors
  • complies with health and safety codes, including OSHA standards
  • performs minor building maintenance including bulb replacement, furniture repair, and basic repairs to plumbing, heating and electrical equipment
  • sets up furniture and equipment for community use and school events
