Job Requirements
- No prior cooking experience required
- Must be able to work full-time hours including some weekends
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Must comply with food safety and hygiene standards
- Reliable transportation to work location
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Prior food service experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals using correct portioning and ensures food is at the proper temperature and presentation
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen after food preparation and service maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
