Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to wear uniform and name badge while on duty
- Basic math and computer skills
- Prior experience in hospitality or security preferred
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to stand or move for long periods
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel night audit preferred
- Basic accounting and auditing knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate computer systems and switchboards
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to react quickly in emergency situations
- Good interpersonal skills for dealing with guests and staff
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
Job Duties
- Be in uniform including name badge while onsite
- Perform all daily audit procedures as required
- Complete all necessary audit reports
- Verify wake-up call requests and ensure proper handling
- Balance all cash receipts and work for audit shift
- Prepare front office for day shift and reset daily business
- Act as guest services agent during nighttime hours
- Serve as manager on duty during night shifts
- Attend and participate in all front office meetings
- Participate in training and cross training programs
- Operate PBX switchboard during audit shift
- Uphold company core values and guest service philosophy
- Ensure guest and property security
- Monitor lobby, office area, hallways, stairways, restrooms, parking lots, lawns, guest rooms, and other areas
- Maintain security log entries accurately
- Assist guests with requests, directions, or complaints
- Escort guests and employees to their vehicles when requested
- Monitor and report incidents related to the bar area and parking lot
- Assist bartenders and servers with managing unruly or intoxicated guests
- Maintain confidentiality of security and hotel documents
- Keep current with first aid procedures
