Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in guest services or front desk role
  • or 2-year degree in related field
  • ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including night shifts
  • capability to handle financial transactions accurately
  • physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
  • knowledge of hotel procedures and guest service standards
  • proficiency with relevant computer systems

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile and friendly greeting
  • address guests' service needs in a professional and timely manner
  • engage guests in conversation about their stay and local attractions
  • respond positively to guest questions and concerns using property-specific processes
  • process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations and issuing room keys
  • assign rooms according to guest preferences and property policies
  • process all guest check-outs including express check-outs and resolve billing discrepancies
  • coordinate closely with Housekeeping to track room readiness and report guest concerns
  • run daily reports on arrivals, departures, and exceptions and audit daily receipt postings
  • manage all payment methods and maintain accurate cashier and closing reports
