Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience as a night auditor
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel front office roles
  • Willingness to work the night shift
  • Proficient with property management systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • Good team player
  • Ability to operate front office equipment
  • Attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or higher-level education
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a night auditor
  • Minimum of 3 years hotel front office experience
  • Proficient in Brands property management system and Quore Property Management System
  • Skilled in using Simple Hotel property data system
  • Good understanding of hotel operating procedures
  • Ability to train front desk personnel on property management systems
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate staff
  • Knowledge of Chart of Accounts
  • Experience handling guest complaints
  • Familiarity with processing reservations
  • Courteous and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper completion of all front office and night audit duties
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of all night shift staff
  • Effectively analyze the days operating results and perform daily assigned duties
  • Conduct the night audit in accordance with the Greens standards
  • Prepare operations analysis and reporting including accounts payable
  • Manage accounts receivable and direct billing
  • Complete end of day statistics and labor hours reports
  • Generate Greens Splash Report and front office room inspection reports
  • Conduct competition survey and newspaper review for lead generation
  • Produce operations statistics report including labor cost per room
  • Ensure proper appearance of the lobby and all public areas including the complimentary breakfast area
  • Act as the Manager on Duty during the night shift
  • Review front office communications logs
  • Supervise delegated responsibilities and follow up
  • Use front office equipment such as credit card machine, copier, and fax
  • Inform the General Manager of any unique situations or unusual developments in front office operations
  • Handle guest complaints effectively
  • Process reservations through various channels
  • Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests and associates
