Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of front desk experience in hospitality or hotel environment
  • Or one year of customer service experience in service or retail environment
  • Or one year of accounting experience
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be people oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of accounting systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and understand English

Job Duties

  • Responsible for night audit work and all front office functions on third shift
  • Complete the night audit checklist for computer procedures daily
  • Balance the day’s work including movie revenue, telephone postings, valet laundry, servers and desk agent paperwork
  • Generate required reports for food and beverage audit
  • Maintain proper record keeping according to standards
  • Complete initial direct bills and coordinate with property accountant
  • Handle guest requests during the third shift
  • Promptly greet guests and complete registration process
  • Issue unit keys and provide resort and area attraction information
  • Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions
  • Balance all cash receipts and perform a bucket check on shift
  • Post guest charges and complete cashier and other reports
  • Prepare deposits and secure assigned bank
  • Complete check-out procedures
  • Book guest reservations for individuals and groups
  • Verify daily cash sheets and update no shows
  • Run final night audit and associated reports
  • Interact with site accounting regarding daily transactions
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns and handle issues to resolution
  • Escalate outstanding guest concerns to management
  • Promote teamwork and quality service with other departments
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit, quality assurance, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures

  • Perform other duties as needed
