Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • less than one year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to operate telephone and electronic key machines
  • ability to handle cash and process various payment methods
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
  • willingness to follow company policies and maintain professional appearance
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and protect company assets

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • basic skills in handling cash and electronic systems

  • capacity to work part-time shifts, including nights

Job Duties

  • Complete end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts, run night audit backup, and roll the date
  • process all payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
  • handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges
  • print contingency lists for emergency guest record keeping
  • sell rooms or accommodations to guests without reservations based on availability
  • operate telephone switchboard, process wake-up calls, and manage guest messages
  • complete the Room Rate Variance Report
  • process all guest check-ins and assign rooms
  • activate or reissue room keys using electronic key machine
  • count and secure bank at end of shift
  • balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications
  • maintain work areas including setup, stocking, and cleanliness
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • comply with company policies, ensure professional appearance, and protect company assets
  • welcome guests according to company standards and support their service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
  • develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • perform physical activities including lifting objects up to 25 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods
  • perform other duties as requested by supervisors
