Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel front desk or night audit roles preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- proficiency in basic math and using computer systems
- availability to work overnight shifts
- ability to conduct security walks and handle safety protocols
- ability to manage cash and complete financial balancing
- willingness to assist and train new staff
- commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to handle cash and perform basic math
- knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems
- proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- ability to multitask and work independently during overnight shifts
- knowledge of safety and security procedures
- team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Greet and register guests
- complete night audit reports
- balance accounts including house accounts and credit cards
- settle guest accounts upon checkout
- make and modify reservations
- run audit reports per checklist
- conduct security walks during shift
- set up lobby coffee service and breakfast if applicable
- handle and resolve guest complaints professionally
- communicate effectively with guests and team members
- perform basic math and understand financial information
- recognize and address safety or loss prevention incidents
- implement company safety and security policies
- assist other departments with room status and repairs
- use persuasive selling techniques to promote rooms and marketing programs
- carry out front desk responsibilities including cash control and deposits
- operate phone system and basic office equipment
- schedule wake-up calls
- manage key control and lost and found items
- assist in training new staff
- support positive work environment
- perform other duties as assigned
