Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel front desk or night audit roles preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • proficiency in basic math and using computer systems
  • availability to work overnight shifts
  • ability to conduct security walks and handle safety protocols
  • ability to manage cash and complete financial balancing
  • willingness to assist and train new staff
  • commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • ability to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to handle cash and perform basic math
  • knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • ability to multitask and work independently during overnight shifts
  • knowledge of safety and security procedures
  • team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Greet and register guests
  • complete night audit reports
  • balance accounts including house accounts and credit cards
  • settle guest accounts upon checkout
  • make and modify reservations
  • run audit reports per checklist
  • conduct security walks during shift
  • set up lobby coffee service and breakfast if applicable
  • handle and resolve guest complaints professionally
  • communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • perform basic math and understand financial information
  • recognize and address safety or loss prevention incidents
  • implement company safety and security policies
  • assist other departments with room status and repairs
  • use persuasive selling techniques to promote rooms and marketing programs
  • carry out front desk responsibilities including cash control and deposits
  • operate phone system and basic office equipment
  • schedule wake-up calls
  • manage key control and lost and found items
  • assist in training new staff
  • support positive work environment
  • perform other duties as assigned
